The act of writing is, for me, both exciting and intensely personal. My novels are all set (so far) in my city of adoption, the beautiful capital of Canada, Ottawa. Ottawa is home to two rivers: the Ottawa river, and the Rideau River. It also boasts the Rideau Canal, the longest skating rink in the world.
I fell in love with this town when I was 18. When I decided to write full time, I also decided that Ottawa was as an exotic a locale as any other world city. I hope you will find the same fascination with the city when you pick up one of my books.
