It amazes me how two people can take the same thing and describe it in a totally different way. The magic of writing. I love it.

(Tried to be smarter on this one.) :P

Hot Air Balloon – cloth/nylon balloon filled with hot air, which will cause it to rise in the sky. Normally contains a basket like attachment for passengers.

Ellen stared in wonder at the sky filled with hot air balloons. It was as if the sky itself were a Christmas tree and the balloons ornaments of varied colors and shapes.

Fashion Show – Event where models will present the latest in styles and fashion for the public to become familiar with them.

Ellen almost drooled at the snazzy number Madeline was strutting down the runway. Armando’s designs truly were to die for.

Modern Kitchen – Area of food preparation with all manner of modern conveniences to help in that field.

Steel and black marble dazzled Ellen’s eyes as she stepped foot in the kitchen. Every device under the sun and then some, graced the counters or hung down from glistening cabinets – a veritable cook’s paradise.

Gun – generic term used to describe weapons that use bullets, which use a combustion reaction of powder as a propulsion method.

Ellen pulled the trigger. The power of the shot swung her hand up. Energy vibrated down her arm – the leftovers of the kinetic reaction between hammer and bullet.
