Electron Microscope Image of a Fly Foot
In order to determine how flies are able to walk on the ceiling, thus defying gravity, Dr. S. Gorb, part of a team from the Max Planck Institute in Stuttgart (Germany) was able to photograph their feet, with the help of an Electron Microscope.
No wonder they tickle when they walk over skin.
